Contractors & Remodelers

Web design for contractors & remodelers.

People hiring a contractor are about to spend real money on their house, and they're nervous about it. Your site's job is to calm that down: show the work, say where you go, and make asking for a quote painless.

What it needs

What your customers look for first.

01

Proof of work

Before-and-after photos of real jobs beat any stock image of a smiling guy in a hard hat.

02

A clear service area

Name the towns and neighborhoods. People skip contractors who might not come out.

03

A sense of price

Ranges, minimums or how you quote. Silence on price reads as expensive.

04

License and insurance up front

It's the first thing a careful homeowner checks.

What brings in leads

Features worth building.

Quote form with photo upload

Let people send pictures of the job. You quote faster and they feel heard.

Project galleries by type

Kitchens, decks, additions. Make it easy to find the job that looks like theirs.

Reviews next to the work

Put the review beside the project it's about.

Tap-to-call on every screen

Half your leads are on a phone in the room that needs work.

Service-area pages

One page per area you actually serve, written for that area.

Common mistakes

What we fix most often.

  • A gallery with no captions, so nobody knows what they're looking at.
  • A contact form that asks for eleven fields before they can hit send.
  • Listing every service known to man instead of the ones you want more of.
  • No photos of the owner or crew. People want to know who's coming into their house.
FAQ

Questions we hear.

Do I need a new site if most of my work is referrals?

Referrals still check you out online before they call. The site is where a referral turns into a booked estimate or quietly goes somewhere else.

Should I put prices on my site?

You don't need a price list. A starting range or a 'most kitchens land between' line filters out bad fits and saves you driving to estimates that go nowhere.

How many project photos do I need?

Start with your best eight to twelve, grouped by job type. Add more as you finish jobs. Phone photos are fine if they're well lit.

Can you write the pages for the towns I serve?

Yes. We write a page for each area you actually cover, about the work you do there, not a copy-paste with the town name swapped.
